We take the road from Warmun (Turkey Creek) and there is a big mountain range to the left. It has beautiful colours right through the mountains, especially at sunrise and sunset. The part I have painted is in the middle of Jimbala country in the mountains. The highest peak is called Spear Head Hill. This is where the old people would come to cut the spearheads and stone axes and everything they needed a long time ago. The grey part running along this section is where they collected the hard rock for many years. It shines and sparkles in the sunlight, with everything else around it a different colour.Accession Number013.2019Access AdviceFor research purposes only.
