Tracks going south to Flora Valley and Gordon Downs Station. Real good country round here. Hills all around everywhere. Flatland in the middle. Roads like the Duncan link up with these tracks to Gordon Downs way. I worked all around this place - mostly at Nicholson but mustered different times of the year on Kirkimbie, Inverway, Ruby Plains, Flora Valley and Gordon Downs. I like this part - all good people round here. Some are lost now. Good blokes to work with on the stations, good bosses, lots of friends back then. The women worked for the missus in the homesteads - we always had good tucker when we came back in.
